To initiate treatment, please contact Dr. Hart to schedule a diagnostic intake assessment.  The initial appointment is an extended meeting (approximately 75-90 minutes) to ensure Dr. Hart has ample time to get to know your needs, or the needs of your child, and recommend the course of treatment that is likely to be most effective.  For child or adolescent intake appointments, Dr. Hart requests that both the child and active parents attend the appointment jointly.

Following an initial assessment, Dr. Hart will provide clinical and diagnostic feedback on the appropriate treatment course, which may include: individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, skills training (individual or parent), parent support, or any combination of the above. Psychotherapy is most effective with weekly frequency (45 or 60 minutes) at initial onset, however with progress and skill development some clients are able to transition to bimonthly or monthly.
