Dr. Holly Hart is a licensed clinical psychologist with over fifteen years of experience delivering evidence-based treatments to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Hart has expertise in the treatment of anxiety disorders (generalized, social, school refusal), depression, family or relationship conflicts, personality disorders, suicidality, and self-harm / non-suicidal self-injury.  Dr. Hart treats behavioral difficulties, including ADHD and oppositionality, in children, adolescents, and adults. Additionally, she specializes in working with siblings of children with medical and psychiatric disorders. 

Dr. Hart has extensive experience and training working with parents of children from infancy through late adolescence providing support and behavioral skills training. She specializes in strengthening co-parenting teams and in assisting parents in creating a more supportive and structured home environment. Throughout her career, Dr. Hart has worked in private practice, outpatient, school-based mental health, community mental health, adoption/foster care, day treatment, and hospital settings.  Dr. Hart has been trained in a number of evidence-based treatment approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Dr. Hart provides supervision and consultation to early career mental health professionals of various training backgrounds. She has served as a clinical supervisor for graduate students and predoctoral psychology interns at The Child and Family Institute at Mount Sinai Hospital. She has served as a Clinical Supervisor and Adjunct Professor at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Clinical Psychology at Yeshiva University/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Additionally, she is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York where she teaches graduate level courses on Applied Cognitive Behavioral Theory. Dr. Hart has provided consultation services, including program development, to early childhood education programs, schools, and hospital settings. Additionally, Dr. Hart has authored articles and given presentations to the public on various mental health issues, including suicide prevention / awareness, emotion regulation interventions, behavioral parenting skill development, mindfulness, and evidence based-treatment approaches.
